We don't hire trainers. We hire experts in human capital management who happen to be phenomenal teachers.

AIRS® Trainers are all seasoned recruitment professionals with hands-on experience and cutting-edge technical skills. Our trainers are full-time AIRS staffers who contribute to research and course development in addition to teaching public seminars, corporate training events and e-learning classes. If you have attended AIRS training or a sponsored recruiting event, you may already know some of them!

Our Trainers are a knowledgeable and valuable continuing resource for our alumni and friends. They are available by email or phone if you have questions or need help before or after your AIRS training

Kevin Crews - AIRS Trainer and Recruiting Specialist
Kevin Crews joins AIRS as a highly respected recruiter and trainer with over 20 years in the training and recruiting profession. Kevin brings a hands-on perspective of how to find purple squirrels in today's talent acquisition environment. Kevin attended Purdue University where he earned two undergraduate degrees, one in Education and one in Management. He also holds an MBA from Kent State University.

Beginning his career in computer programming, Kevin soon found himself working to build a training department and developing and teaching technical courses to an IT staff. Transitioning from training to recruiting for the IT team, Kevin found his passion for recruiting talent. As a recruiter, Kevin has hired and trained for Fortune 500 companies including Aon Hewitt, Discover, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Sears, OfficeMax, ALLTEL as well as the University of Chicago (NORC).

Kevin currently resides in Plainfield, IL (suburb of Chicago).

Tricia Gonzales - AIRS Trainer and Recruiting Specialist
Tricia Gonzales comes to AIRS after spending five years with one of the fastest growing non-profits in the United States. Tricia started with the nonprofit, THINK Together as a Recruiting Manager and was quickly promoted to Recruiting Operations. Most recently Tricia served as the Director of Staffing where she was responsible for strategic planning, training and mentoring hiring managers and recruiters, social media strategy, and executive level searching. 

Prior to her time in the non-profit sector Tricia worked in the staffing agency environment for over five years. She started in the mid 1990’s with a small staffing firm and after one year she was recruited to work for Manpower Int’l, Inc. where she hired and placed candidates with large scale clients. After taking some time off to raise her family Tricia came back into the industry and was excited to utilize and develop recruiting methods that combined her educational background and recruiting experience with technology. 

Tricia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a minor in Anthropology from Cal State Fullerton. She firmly believes in an anthropological approach to recruiting and in AIRS search techniques. Tricia took the AIRS Recruiting Academy during her time with THINK Together and immediately realized that she wanted to share this knowledge with other recruiters and be part of the AIRS team.
Tiffany Gearhart - AIRS Trainer and Recruiting Specialist
Tiffany Gearhart joins AIRS with a strong background in Human Resources, Training and Development, Recruitment, and Customer Service. Tiffany's passion for helping people began with an internship working with Disney Vacation Club at Walt Disney World Resorts. 

That passion for people quickly landed her in the recruitment world. She started with a small IT staffing firm. Shortly after, she decided to switch gears and join the corporate world. Tiffany joined one of the top places to work for in Atlanta and spent over 7 years with them holding roles in Client Services and Human Resources. A majority of her time there was spent with Human Resources where she was responsible for developing and delivering strategies in recruitment and training designed to attract and retain the best talent in the industry. Tiffany's passion for people became fully evident in her desire to help others identify and grow their own passion, person development and career path. 

Tiffany immediately recognized that her own personal values were a very close match to that of the AIRS team and instantly knew she wanted to be a part of the team! 

Tiffany currently resides in Atlanta, GA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from Georgia Southern University. Additionally, she is a member of SHRM and ASTD.
Jon Sloan - AIRS Trainer and Recruiting Specialist
Jon Sloan joins AIRS with more than 10 years of recruiting and client service experience. He began his recruiting career in RPO and has also worked in agency and corporate environments. He has experience working in various industries including: Information Technology, Sales, Management Consulting, Medical Device, and Manufacturing.
Jon has always enjoyed helping companies find the best talent for their most challenging openings. He has led successful and creative recruiting initiatives to source and hire candidates and is regarded as a top performer in managing difficult searches. His true passion is helping others. Whether it be filling a difficult search with top talent or helping someone in their career search, Jon has put his focus on the people he is working with and creating
strategies and processes to support their end goal. Jon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Michigan
State University with an emphasis on Human Resources and Psychology.
Laura Stoker - AIRS Executive Director of Global Training

As an experienced recruitment and sourcing expert with over 20 years in the industry, Laura Stoker serves as AIRS Executive Director of Global Training. In this role, she leads AIRS sourcing research and course development. Joining AIRS in 2000 she's had the opportunity to train recruitment professionals all over the world on topics such as internet recruiting and social media sourcing. Laura is a subject matter expert in these areas and she has been a frequent speaker at numerous global conferences including SourceCon, SHRM, ERE, and the Sourcing Summits (SOSU).

Laura spent a year studying German at the University of Tübingen in Germany and received her bachelor's degree from Colorado State University - Pueblo.

Stephanie Weiss - AIRS Trainer and Recruiting Specialist
Stephanie Weiss started her recruitment career at Lockheed Martin as the Intern Program Manager who recruited entry level candidates of all specialties and across the spectrum from non-technical to technical. She eventually moved over to experienced professional recruitment where she took great pleasure in finding highly cleared engineers of all disciplines for multiple sites. She discovered true satisfaction through creating the social media strategy for the leadership association within Lockheed Martin, and training her fellow recruiters on the newest technologies and search methodologies. Stephanie holds a BS in Psychology and a MS in Human Resources Management from Texas A&M University.
